Overview

Lambda is one of the first and largest in the new wave of GPU specific cloud providers. Starting as a GPU hardware vendor and co-location services provider, Lambda launched a public on-demand cloud with low prices. Due to its own pricing, the availability of GPUs on Lambda is often low. Lambda is frequently raising new capital to supercharge its growth and market share. With a portion of its new funding, Lambda is growing out its on-demand platform.

Pricing

Lambda strives to be the lowest cost cloud provider on the market. Its goal is to gain market share as more and more companies turn to GPUs to power its AI needs. Especially of note are Lambda's H100x8 SXM5 instances which are priced at only $23.92 which are significantly below the price of other providers.

Availability

As one of the lowest priced cloud providers, Lambda generally has low availability of GPU instances across the board. Recently, there has been an increase in their H100 availability.
